After years of waiting, now there’s a new way for members of Team XL to get their cheat days and pizza fills in.

Hunt’s Brothers Pizza is now open at Laughlin’s Army and Air Force Exchange Service’s shopette since Feb. 13. They offers pizza by the slice or the box with unlimited toppings for no extra charge, and even chicken wings.

“We value and appreciate Team XL’s commitment to being receptive to ideas to make the Laughlin experience better, and today is another example of how they actually follow through,” said Damelsa White, 47th Mission Support Group deputy director. “I am personally excited about the nourishment and joy this Hunt Brother’s pizza shop will bring to the men and women of Team XL.”

The pizza shop began with a taste test on Feb. 12, followed by a grand opening the following day, Feb. 13.

“The pizza is wonderful,” Senior Airman Danielle Shaw, 47th Force Support Squadron logistics planner said. “It had a wonderful amount of cheese, and the crust was crispy but soft. I would definitely have the pizza again.”

Anyone wishing to get their slice can find the pizza shop open every day, from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and can either pick up a pre-made pizza or order ahead at (830) 298-3867.
