Job title and unit: 434th Flying Training Squadron assistant operations officer

Why he Xled: He was the Instructor Pilot memorial wing point of contact and had to coordinate with several wing agencies. He also hosted several "previous generation" Laughlin heroes and boosted esprit de corps of base personnel.

Hometown: St. Clair, Mich.

Family: Wife, Melinda; son, Brody; daughter, Lily

Time at Laughlin: Two years

Time in military/civil service: Eight years, six months

Greatest accomplishment: Inventing a Flux Capacitor

Hobbies: Spending time on the lake with my family

Bad habit: Over-analyzing things

Favorite movies: Star Wars (I'm a geek)

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: My great grandpa, because he died before I was born and had many interesting experiences I would have liked to talk to him about.
