Job title and unit: 47th Student Squadron casual lieutenant in the T-38 Phase Inspection and Engine Shop

Why he XLed: He is an above-and-beyond student awaiting pilot training. He assists the T-38 Phase Inspection and Engine Shop and is a computer guru. He quickly mastered his job and documents each maintenance task during phase inspections, so well that he is lauded by phase dock management. He is a trained Closed Air Start System operator which frees up a mechanic to repair other non-fully mission capable items to ensure the highest level of efficiency. He also developed a timeline database for time critical technical orders, combining weeks of work, which reduced logging requirements and identified problem areas. He also loads discrepancies into the Integrated Maintenance Data System which frees up the work lead to perform critical inspections. His actions have led to five times more efficient processes. He was also coined by two squadron commanders.

Hometown: San Antonio, Texas

Family: Robin Roberts (mother), Joseph Dibiasio (father) and Amanda Dibiasio (sister)

Time at Laughlin: Eleven weeks

Time in military/civil service: Eleven weeks

Greatest accomplishment: Each step bringing me closer to being a pilot in the Air Force. Starting with a high school ROTC scholarship, being selected for field training and finally being selected for a pilot slot

Hobbies: Going to the movies, working on my truck and cooking...kind of a sporadic grouping

Bad habit: Eating instead of working out. Food is so much better than pain.
Favorite movies: The Departed, 300, Super Troopers and pretty much all Quentin Tarantino movies

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why: My girlfriend Michelle because I don't get the opportunity to see here as much being stationed in Del Rio.
