Laughlin’s education center holds graduation

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Seventeen Laughlin members had their hard work and diligent efforts in the classroom recognized in a ceremony at Club XL here June 9.

Park University and the Community College of the Air Force's Laughlin campuses held a joint graduation ceremony with students of Troy University and Norwich University also participating in the event and almost every level of academic accomplishment being recognized.

The students present were only part of the graduation class as many of the graduates were unable to attend the ceremony. A total of 39 Laughlin members received their degrees.

Chief Master Sgt. Mike Hanning, 47th Flying Training Wing command chief, was present as the key note speaker and to hand out awards and diplomas to the CCAF graduates. Members of the other universities' faculties were also present to recognize their students.
