LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  The Laughlin Fire Department has a busy schedule for the upcoming Fire Prevention Week.

5 OCTOBER
3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Sparky Visits the Youth Center

7 OCTOBER
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Fire crews visit base housing

8 OCTOBER
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. : Sparky Visits Laughlin main gate

2:30 a.m. - 3:00 a.m.: Fire Prevention Week kick-off parade

9 OCTOBER
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Base Commisarry: Fire extinguisher live fire demonstration, Fire Safety Trailer

4:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.: Sparky visits Club Amistad Enlisted Annex parking lot with fire truck display, Fire extinguisher live fire training

10 OCTOBER
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Base Exchange: Fire extinguisher live fire demonstration

4:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.: Sparky visits Club XL officers parking lot with fire truck display, Fire Extinguisher live fire training, fire safety trailer

11 OCTOBER
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Sparky's Search and Rescue Challenge

12 OCTOBER
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Base Library, Children Reading Session, fire safety video & fire truck display

12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: FIRE STATION OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:
· Poster Contest winner Announced
· Sparky's Search and Rescue Challenge winner announced
· Fire trucks display
· Smoke House trailer fire safety demonstration
· Stove Top pan fire demonstration
· Portable Fire extinguisher live fire training
· Refreshments 

5:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Base housing fire drill - Practice your escape plan
