Vehicle breaches Laughlin Air Force Base

At approximately 8:24 a.m. CST Laughlin command post was notified by Security Forces that there was an installation breach by a vehicle near the West gate visitor control center. The base was immediately put on lockdown to ensure the safety of base personnel. The vehicle exited the base around 8:32 a.m. CST and was further pursued by U.S. Border Patrol and the Texas Department of Public Safety. The incident is ongoing off base, and the base is secure.
