LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 47th Flying Training Wing recognized their recent Tech. Sgt selects at XL Landings July 3, 2025. Laughlin personnel, family and friends commended 11 airmen for their outstanding hard work and commitment to earn the rank of Tech. Sgt.
Air Force officials recently selected 7,884 Staff Sgts. for promotion to Tech. Sgt. out of 30,776 eligible candidates. Qualified Staff Sgts. must meet specific requirements including six years of satisfactory service, superb performance evaluations and high promotion test scores.
