LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

The 47th Flying Training Wing held an active shooter exercise 4 Sept, focusing on mass casualty response coordination to a hostage scenario located at the base gym. Off-base law enforcement from Vale Verde County Sheriff’s Office and emergency services personnel from Val Verde Regional Medical Center participated. This was the first time air medical evacuation response from the local area participated in a base exercise.
