LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Unit and job title: 47th Communications Squadron cyber operations journeyman

Why he XLed: Schramm personally resolved 45 tickets, enabling security distribution groups and group policy access on two domains that cut the response time from one week to one day. He managed a $211,000 section information technology equipment custodian program, inventoried 30 items in less than two days and solidified AETC "Best Defense Reporting Agency". He executed 40 time compliance network orders and eliminated 3,000 threats, raising network deterrence to 99 percent. Schramm led a network share drive clean-up and migration for three units, identifying a ruinous server failure that restored global network capabilities for 3,500 users in less than three days.
