LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Flying Training Wing Command Post, emergency action controller

Why she XLed: Lopez submitted a Commander Critical Information Requirement within the designated timeline, coordinated verbiage with wing leadership and ensured that Air Education and Training Command was notified in minimum time. She maintained a 95 percent average on Emergency Action exams for command post surpassing the Air Force standard of 90 percent. She is also actively involved with education and has recently completed an English 101 credit toward her Associate of Arts degree in Emergency Management, that she is only 24 credits away from earning.
