LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Flying Training Wing, public affairs officer

Why she XLed: Haag led volunteers for two of the biggest events in Del Rio; the Feast of Sharing and the Wild Game Dinner. She led 200 volunteers for the feast of sharing and coordinated with 10 local agencies to provide 3000 meals for 300 families, and organized 80 volunteers for the Wild Game Dinner. She created a physical training program for a six person flight that pushed the flight to 100 percent pass with four excellent PT scores. She revitalized Company Grade Officer Council and was elected Vice President. She also, as vice president of CGOC, increased membership by 50 percent and assisted in creating a mentorship program for Del Rio High School.
