Laughlin will be hosting a combat dining out in the Club XL parking lot Sept. 13 at 6:00 p.m.

The theme of this year's combat dining out will be the history and heritage of Laughlin. Old uniforms are approved as long as the correct rank is worn, and regulations are followed.

Events will include decorating squadron tables, a grog bowl, and a warrior challenge.

"Events like this give us a chance to come out and have fun at an event that is not so formal" said 1st Lt. Ashley Peterson, 47th Mission Support Group executive officer and event project organizer. "Don't come and expect to stay dry."

Tickets are $12 and include a meal. The menu for dining out will consist of barbeque or a vegetarian option is available.

All military members and spouses are invited, and civilians over 21 are welcome.

"This event will be one of the biggest of the year and I highly encourage everyone to attend" said Chief Master Sgt. Teresa Clapper 47th Flying Training Wing command chief.
