LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

Job title and unit: 47th Flying Training Wing, Chief of Command Post

Why he XLed: Wangler was the Feds Feed Families point of contact for wing staff agency when he helped support a local food pantry by coordinating with more than 100 personnel. He finished six hours for his master's degree in aeronautical science and maintained a 3.5 grade point average. He also led command post to meet 100 percent of the Air Education and Training Command's and Air Force's time requirements for operations reports for the past 24 months.
