LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Medical Operations Squadron allergy and immunizations technician.

Why he XLed: Lee was the point of contact in his squadron for the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign. He contacted 100 percent of his squadron and organized a silent auction that raised more than $2,300, which exceeded the Medical Group's goal by 25 percent. He performed duties as a hazardous waste operator cadre, training 15 decontamination members and readying the team for hazardous material disaster procedures. Lee also filled in as NCO in charge in the immunizations clinic, where he personally administered 268 vaccinations.
