LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Job title and unit: 47th Operations Group executive officer and T-6A Texan II instructor pilot

Why he XLed: Bissett was the main point of contact for the Devil Dash 5k. He managed 25 volunteers, oversaw more than 150 participants and raised more than $5,000 for the Air Warrior Courage Foundation. He coordinated with local agencies for road closures and runway access for the Devil Dash, bolstering the wing's image. He coordinated an immediate response to T-38C emergency on the runway, safeguarding 2 Airmen and $6.5 million. He also maintained a 3.8 GPA, finishing 2 courses in theology and leadership and speech.
