Why he XLed: Rhodes revamped and inspected his flight's ropes and harnesses, certifying 2,000 feet of rope and 10 harnesses for life, health and safety. The certification of the ropes and harnesses led to 100 percent fire code compliance. He led his flight's mobility record program, monitoring 40 home station training requirements for 33 airmen. His work was pivotal to the 98 percent deployment training completion. He piloted the Mission Support Group's booster club annual award fundraiser, garnering $1,300 for trophy purchases. The funds brought recognition to 13 award winners.
