Why he XLed: He spearheaded the wing inspection team standup by developing a three-day course and helped train more than 70 peers which was pivotal to the new Air Force inspection system rollout. He led and evaluated the joint training exercise with the city, county, state and federal agencies which accounted for the highest participation in over three years. Represented Laughlin AFB at the city emergency meetings which helped secured a mishap training site. Coordinated with the local flying operations, medical and fire department, Texas department of transportation, Val Verde sheriff and Border Patrol for ground and air support for the exercise.
