    The United Service Organizations (USO) visited Laughlin June 2-3, 2024, with their Mobile National Football League (NFL) Gaming Trailer, boosting the morale of Airmen and base residents. The NFL gaming trailer held two events, one geared towards Airmen and the other for families.

  • Mexican Air Force visits Laughlin for Fiesta of Flight

    The Fuerza Aerea Mexicana (Mexican Air Force) made their first U.S. debut since 1944 with their T-6C+ Aerobatic Demonstration team for a performance during Laughlin’s Fiesta of Flight Open House, Airshow and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics Expo (STEAM) March 9.

  • AETC command chief visits Team XL

    U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Chad Bickley, command chief for Air Education and Training Command, was welcomed by Team XL during an immersion visit Jan. 22, 2024.This was his first visit to the 47th Flying Training Wing since becoming the AETC command chief.
