Laughlin supports ill boy 400 miles away

Airmen from across Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, spell the name “Dyrk” at Laughlin’s flightline July 25, 2012, to contribute to the “Dyrkstrong” campaign. Four-year-old Dyrk Burcie was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2011, to bring some cheer to the boy and his family, an effort was started to spell out the boy’s name with people and equipment that continues to spread.
