DUI victim becomes BAADD volunteer

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas— Tech. Sgt. Edgar Ferreira, 47th Medical Support Squadron NCO in-charge of laboratory services, takes care of paperwork in his office here Dec. 19, where a poster of him cycling in Japan serves as a reminder of how far he has come. Ferreira was the victim of a drunk driver Dec. 7, 2007, an event that left him with a compound femur fracture and two broken knee caps which he has made a full recovery from.
