Steak-eating contest
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Chief Master Sgt. Russell Thomas, 47th Medical Group superintendent, competes in a steak-eating contest at Laughlin’s commissary Sept. 9. Thomas, Chief Master Sgt. Dean Ferris, 47th Operations Group superintendent; Master Sgt. James Escher, 47th Mission Support Group first sergeant and Master Sgt. Nick Kurpier, 47th Security Forces Squadron first sergeant, were all tasked to eat a 47-ounce steak and a salad.
