Laughlin hosts group of artists
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – A T-6A Texan II aircraft maintainer gives the thumbs up for takeoff Aug. 17 here before Capt. Nicole Jansen, 47th Operations Support Squadron, takes Ross Parton on an orientation flight in support of the Air Force Art Program. The 47th Flying Training Wing hosted four artists from the program Aug. 14 through Aug. 19. The artists toured Laughlin and received orientation flights in the T-6 and T-1 Jayhawk to help inspire them to create artwork about the mission here.
