POW/MIA Recognition Day
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Master Sgt. Laurie Freeman, 85th Flying Training Squadron, stands guard over a POW/MIA remembrance wreath at Laughlin’s Heritage Park Sept. 17. The vigil was part of Laughlin’s POW/MIA Recognition Day activities, which also included a roundtable discussion with a former prisoner of war and three other Vietnam veterans who were shot down in action as well as a retreat ceremony.
