American heroes visit Laughlin
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Lt. Col. (ret.) Robert Conrey (right) and Lt. (ret.) Art Baker (left) are photographed in front of a T-37 Tweet July 21 while on a tour of Laughlin. Conrey and Baker donated personal photographs from their time in the Air Force to Laughlin’s historical archives. Both retirees served as pilots in World War II; however Conrey continued his Air Force career and flew in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Desiree Economides)
