Wing commander's final flight
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – A T-38 Talon aircraft piloted by Col. Jeffrey McDaniels, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, taxis through an arch of water supplied by fire trucks from Laughlin’s fire department May 17 after Colonel McDaniels’ final flight as wing commander. Upon exiting the aircraft, as is tradition for outgoing commanders, he was drenched with a fire hose by his wife. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Blake Mize)
