Volunteer Appreciation
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Lt. Col. Kirk Phillips, 47th Medical Support Squadron commander, and Staff Sgt. Erica Benoit, 47th Security Forces Squadron, put the finishing touches on Col. Bruce Peters’, 47th Medical Group commander, ice-cream dish at the Volunteer Appreciation Ice Cream Social at Club XL April 22. Andia Dinesen, spouse of Capt. Ian Dinesen, 47th Security Forces Squadron commander, was named Laughlin’s volunteer of the year and Laughlin members were recognized for donating more than 3,697 hours of their time, which saved the Air Force more than $77,000.
