Mission Possible: PRT leaders begin training for year in Afghanistan
FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- Provincial Reconstruction Team members receive an immersion briefing from a Naval Postgraduate School professor on the tribal structure of Afghanistan. Primarily, Afghans speak Pashto and Dari, but are broken up into many tribes and speak numerous dialects. Throughout the December leadership training, members were exposed to cultural and language training and received briefs from numerous governmental and non-governmental agencies such as UNAMA and USAID.
