SLC groundbreaking

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Mrs. Sue Blankemeyer, Col. Jeffery McDaniels, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, Lt. Col. Matthew Orenstein, deputy Fort Worth District commander for Army Corp of Engineers, and Mr. Scott Boling, vice president of Cooley Constructors are participants in a ceremonial ground breaking at the site of Laughlin’s new Student Learning Center. The SLC will be a two-story building with a library, coffee shop and classrooms for professional education with a mezzanine for student gatherings.
