Veterans Day parade

Col. Craig Wills, 47th Operations Group commander gives a speech during the Veterans’ Day Ceremony at the Del Rio Civic Center. There were a number of Laughlin representatives in the parade, which went from Del Rio’s Star Park to the Del Rio Civic Center. Representing Laughlin in the parade was the Laughlin Honor Guard, a formation of marching Airmen, firefighters and Sparky the Fire Dog and members of the 47th Security Forces Squadron. At the Veterans Day ceremony held at the Civic Center, Capt. (Chaplain) Brian Nierman, wing chaplain, led a prayer that was followed by an 11-minute speech from Col. Wills.
