Vice Commander reaches 2,000th T-38 flying hour

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Vice wing commander Col. Laro Clark (right) receives a certificate documenting his 2,000th T-38 flying hour from Lt. Col. Dean Lee who commands the 87th Flying Training Squadron's Red Bulls. The 87th is responsible for conducting the final phase of specialized undergraduate pilot training for students who will continue on in the fighter/bomber track. In 2007, Laughlin graduated 346 of the world's best trained pilots. Colonel Clark adds this personal flying milestone to many others including service on the East Coast F-15 Aerial Demonstration Team, rating as a Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot and 220 combat hours in the F-15.
