How will hurricane Dean Affect Laghlin?

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Tech Sgt. Samuel Gutierrez, 47th Mission Support Squadron, explains, "Most likely, Laughlin and its mission will not be affected by hurricane Dean." Hurricane Dean came into the Bay of Campeche August 22 as a category 1 and soon became a category 5 before making landfall in southern Mexico. Dean has kept the Weather operations on base on the edge of their seat due to predictions for the possibilities of it to hit Texas.
