Domestic Violence Awareness Month
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Col. Jeff McDaniels, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, signs a proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month Oct. 2. Domestic Violence Awareness Month is dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence by providing people with education about healthy relationships, and by changing attitudes that support violence. The proclamation letter calls upon the base community to take action to make themselves aware of the negative effects of domestic violence and to become actively involved in its prevention.
