Airman stands guard

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Airman 1st Class Glen Meyer, 47th Security Forces Squadron, stands guard at the base of Laughlin's flag pole in Heritage Park as part of National POW/MIA Recognition Day here Sept. 18. Airman Meyer was one of many Airmen to stand guard in thirty-minute shifts that started at 5 a.m. and lasted until Laughlin’s POW/MIA remembrance ceremony at 5 p.m. later that day.
