Pilot for a Day
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas--Rozlyn Bermea, honorary Pilot for a Day, and 1st Lt. Nikki Jansen, 85th Flying Training Squadron, stand beside the T-6 Texan II that has Rozlyn’s name stenciled on it, a tradition usually reserved for crew chiefs and commanders, while participating in Laughlin’s Pilot for a Day program July 28. Rozlyn recently endured a 12-hour surgery to remove a tumor on her brain and although the tumor is currently non-malignant, she must undergo a complete check-up every three months to ensure the tumor does not return.
