Craft time

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Patricia Ross, library technician at the Book Mark Library, explains the craft activity for June 9’s Summer Reading Program to a group of children. The program is held from 1 until 2 p.m. every Tuesday at the base library. The program is for children 6 to 12 years old and they enjoy a story, make crafts and play games. The library staff also offers a story time at 10:30 a.m. every Friday. In addition, the library is promoting a summer reading program where children who read for 12 hours or 12 books, depending on age, receive a prize at the end of the summer.
