LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas--Laughlin Airmen, who participated in the Laughlin Education Enrichment Program, gather in front of a T-6 Texan with students from Ruben Chavira Elementary School during a tour here May 29. The program, LEEP, was developed as a way to help students excel in a non-threatening, motivating environment by pairing each student with a Laughlin Airman to be their mentor. Twenty-five students participated in a base tour that was organized by the Laughlin mentors as a capstone event to end the school year and recognize the students' achievements.
