LEEP
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas--Capt. Jason Tingstrom, 47th Operations Support Squadron and Laughlin Education Enrichment Program mentor, explains parts of the T-38 Talon to a Ruben Chavira Elementary School student here May 29. The program, LEEP, was developed as way to help students excel in a non-threatening, motivating environment by pairing each student with a Laughlin Airman to be their mentor. Twenty-five students participated in a base tour that was organized by the Laughlin mentors as a capstone event to end the school year and recognize the students' achievements.
