Laughlin bike patrol training

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Members of the 47th Security Forces Squadron receive instructions from a member of the San Antonio Police Department during the Bike Patrol Training Program here recently. This is the first set of Laughlin Airmen to undergo the five-day course and they will be implementing a similar program at Laughlin in the future. The purpose for the bike patrol program is to enhance the unit’s personal contact with base members and to heighten crime prevention awareness of all base personnel. In addition, it is a more environmentally friendly program, which allows the squadron to save on fuel costs and extend motorized vehicle life. (Contributed photo)
