Easter Egg Hunt
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Justin Casarez and Jose Nava III race Airman 1st Class Dennis Reuter, 47th Medical Group, during the Base Easter Egg Hunt festivities, sponsored by the 47th Force Support Squadron, April 11 at the Leaning Pine Golf Course. The races were competitive throughout the day, as youngsters that were able to defeat the winless Airman Reuter received a prize. More than 300 youngsters turned out for the Easter event making it one of the largest held recently, to search for 6,000 Easter eggs, participate in sack races or pony rides. Pinnacle Housing Management provided 800 hot dogs, drinks and sno-cones. The event kicked off with a parade featuring 50 youngsters and their parents marching and riding from the chapel to the golf course, led by a fire truck that had Sparky the Fire Dog and the Easter bunny on-board.(U.S. Air force photo by tech.
