Memorial Day

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas-- Col. John Doucette, 47th Flying Training Wing Commander, and Maj. Gen. Gerald Prather, USAF Ret. (back to camera), unveil a monument dedicated to four young men from Del Rio who made the ultimate sacrifice as members of the U.S. Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan during the Memorial Day Ceremony in Del Rio May 26. The monument joins another honoring men from Del Rio who died while serving their country in World Wars One and Two, Korea and Vietnam. More than 100 people were on hand to witness the annual event.
