National Peace Officers Week
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Staff Sgt. Bryan Garcia and Senior Airman Ryan Troester, military working dog handlers with the 47th Security Forces Squadron, demonstrates tactics of the military working dog and basic duties the dogs are trained to accomplish to a group of elementary students as a part of National Police Officers week May 14. National Peace Officers Week is held the week of May 15, National Peace Officers Memorial Day, every year to show appreciation to all peace officers including civilian, military and Border Patrol.
