Air Traffic Controller Officer Training Program

Air Education and Training Command transferred the Air Traffic Controller Officer Training Program to Moody AFB, Ga. Feb. 10, 2003. Before transferring the program, Laughlin was responsible for the upgrade training of all AETC air traffic control officers. Moving the program took some of the burden off Laughlin's 47th Operations Support Squadron, allowing them to concentrate on training the more than 300 student pilots who graduate from Laughlin each year.
