LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Airmen stand in line at Jack’s Place, a new restaurant on base featuring a sports bar atmosphere, for coming to the grand opening here Jan. 29. Before the opening Col. John Doucette, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, thanked Airmen outside. Colonel Doucette said the restaurant’s opening was a result of Team XL teaming up. “Nothing happens on this base without everyone working together, and we’re going to keep modifying the menu to keep people coming here,” he added.
