Family day at Laughlin

LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Matthew Thompson, 3, son of Steve Thompson, U. S. Air Force retired, and Holly Thompson, carefully chooses a numbered rubber ducky from the duck pond in order to win a prize at Laughlin Youth Center’s Annual Spring Family Day March 22. The family day began with a parade that ran from the base chapel to the picnic grounds and continued with an egg hunt and other family oriented games. “We estimate there were nearly 500 individuals that came to the event,” said Ray Torres, Youth Center director.
