Air Force Assistance Fund
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Col. John Doucette, 47th Flying Training Wing commander, signs the first check for Laughlin’s Air Force Assistance Fund drive at a breakfast fir the campaign at Club XL March 18. The AFAF fundraiser is an annual endeavor to raise money for charitable organizations that provide a helping hand to Air Force members and their families. The funds raised through AFAF go to organizations such as the Air Force Village Foundation, the Air Force Aid Society, and the General and Mrs. Curtis E. LeMay Foundation. The different organizations then offer financial assistance for a variety of reasons ranging from family emergencies to financial needs. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Sara Csurilla)
