LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas—Tech. Sgt. Thomas Cooper, 47th Security Forces Squadron, stands in silent vigil over a display honoring America's Prisoners of War and Missing in Action Sept. 19 at Laughlin AFB, Texas. Laughlin Airmen stood guard at the base flagpole in 30-minute shifts from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. in observation of National POW/MIA Remembrance Day, held the third Friday in September. Sgt.
