LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Key figures in Laughlin’s 2008 Combined Federal Campaign gather for a kickoff luncheon Sept. 8, the official start date of this year’s program. Col. John Doucette, 47th Flying Training Wing Commander, said the base smashed contribution records in 2007, and said the goal for the 2008 program is 100 percent personal contact. The CFC is an annual charity fundraising drive is a program allowing certain charitable organizations to solicit contributions from employees of the Federal Government of the United States.
