LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Capt. Melinda Sams, pharmacist with the 47th Medical Group, lends a customer a with his prescriptions in the Laughlin medical clinic July 28. The members of the 47th MDG pharmacy’s duties are to keep the Laughlin community mission ready by providing the correct medications and answering any questions a patient may have. “I really love the opportunity to have so much interaction with our patients,” said Captain Sams, who has been working as a pharmacist since 2003 but has only been at Laughlin since late June. “It’s nice to know I can help answer questions and possibly sooth any worries a patient may have.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Sara Csurilla)
