Not just a window

Pictured is the memorial stained glass window at the base chapel on Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, taken July 29, 2014. The window portrays the missing man formation and is a tribute to wing pilot training personnel who lost their lives in combat or aerial flight accidents while in training or after their departure. The ray of light extending from top to bottom represents God’s concern for all mankind, and the vapor trails represent a continued hope reaching out to prisoners of war and those missing in action.
