Raising awareness on domestic violence
Purple lights illuminate one of two water towers on Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Oct. 21, 2015. The outcome of “Purple Light Nights” each year during October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month is to increase the awareness of domestic violence issues and it’s affect upon children and families and to further impress upon the mission to “Remember, the victims who lost their lives from domestic violence; Support those who survived domestic violence; and Hope for those still living with abuse.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
